Kiki and the Can is John Leguizamo’s debut picture book, featuring graffiti by John “Crash” Matos and illustrated by Liz Casal for Scholastic, Inc.
Liz illustrates bold characters, Kiki’s street art, and lots of lettering over collages of Crash’s murals and city scenes. She brings together John’s words, Crash’s murals, and Kiki’s world.
Kiki’s signature street art style features black-and-white portraits of his heroes and their names.
